Based on previous research and social capital theory, Trice (2004) argues that international students trying to socialize expose to less negative psychological effects. To be socialized requires having social capital useful for international students to become familiar with American society.
On the contrary of some researches, Cigularova (2005) claim that adaptation process of international students may be easily got over with the assistance of different parts of the society.
Some researches state that deficiencies of international students on personel assertiveness cause several adaptation problems. Other researches and a workshop claim that spesific attempts can provide positive conributions to international students to get used to university life.
