speaking ofwriting-interviews with people on the job

Hamermesh in her paper titled "Interwievs with People on the Job" has clarified her study on improving quality of business writing course. She seeks better ways to teach her students. Therefore, she conducts some interviews with different managers from the several levels of business world. Her interviews are based on some questions. Despite some surprises, according to her findings quality of a writing can be determined by its conciseness, correctness, conversational tone, awareness of audience, logical organization and expressing culture. Also, she mentions that interviewed persons attaching very great importance to their writings, demanding good writing skills from the new employees. Her findings were compatible with textbooks, allowing her to teach her classes with greater confidence in her teaching materials.
