The make up exam was given Friday at 4:PM. Time of exam is afternoon. At the afternoons, students may not be focus on the exams or lectures. It is possible that time affected students adversely. Also, day of the exam was the last business day of a week. If we consider week fatique, it is likely that students took low scores.
On the other hand, number of students taking exam was considerably low. It is probable that these students were not interested in course very much. Besides those might not study the exam well. Furthermore, the difference between number of students taking regular exam and make up exam seems to be not adequate to compare these numbers.
Therefore, against the regular exam prior to the make-up exam no board examples were given. This factor may cause the lower scores.
Finally, the temperature was about 28 C during the make up exam. It is relatively higher than temperature in the regular exam. Some students may be affected negatively from high temperature .
